Velora Luxe™ Shower Cap

This is definitely more engineered than most shower caps. I had to read the instructions - it goes around your neck, then you pull up and sort of secure it into place from the top. High quality and sturdy, and does a great job of keeping my hair dry. Really nice!

This is the most unusual shower cap I've ever used and I love it! This is not your traditional enclosed shower cap that you hope has enough room to stuff all of your hair into. This is open on both ends with waterproof exterior and a lovely soft satin interior. You pull the tube down over your head and hair, kind of around your neck, and the pull the top up, and let your hair slide into the cap. Then you use the wire edging at the top to roll the top closed. There is a small loop on one side that I like to hook the wire through and bend to keep it securely closed - I also use the loop to hang it to dry.

This kept my hair completely dry (except a tiny bit at the base of my skull) and didn't require me to put my hair in a bun, and mess up my curls. I do have some minor concerns about long term use and the possibility of the wire eventually breaking from all the bending and twisting, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I love the high quality of Kitsch products, and this is no different - the material is super thick and luxurious feeling - and the cherry print is adorable.

This shower cap is almost $24 ($23.99 at the time of this review) which seems like a lot, but in my opinion it's worth it for the quality and the convenience of keeping my style intact during my showers. I'm so glad I ordered this and will be on the lookout for more!

Been wondering why no one has improved the showercap design, it wasnt very effective as my hair was always falling out or pulling it down so the water could just freely flow INTO shower caps. But not anymore. This uses the same idea technology as dry bags for rafting and honestly just cant believe it took us this long to use that for shower caps. I can and will never go back to basic shower caps again. My hair is dry, its easy and comfortable to put on, cuter print than most of them and plenty of room for long and thick hair (my hair is thick and lots of it but currently in a mullet haircut so its not as bulky, i can tell those with lots of hair would easily be able to use this without issue. ) the fabric material is so nice and thick and soft. Easy to use and honestly at least for my length of hair, you dont even need to unwrap each time and redo, it can kinda stay inand just slip on and off if you wanted. I cannot recommend this enough.

Really nice quality and keeps my hair dry while I shower. I love that I can keep my style nice for a few days. Other caps would always get my hair wet. This one is great! I will prob purchase more for gifts!

I got this shower cap so I can quickly rinse off before bed without freezing all night from having cold hair. (I don’t typically blow dry my hair & didn’t want that extra step before bed.)

I would happily buy this cap again.
