Soft and works better than expected!

I absolutely love this powder! I am 38 with dry skin and some wrinkles and pores that loooove to just show themselves like they're the star. I've tried so many powders and they all work well, but this stuff REALLY locks in my undereye makeup and keeps it from creasing. It feels very soft to the touch and smooth. It is a bit drying but that's kind of what makes it work so well under my eyes because my eyes water a lot. I only use the powder on certain places where I do tend to get oily or my pores show in the summer, and it works really well. I have tried it with the puff they include as well as my brushes. It works best if I use the puff to press it in first and then kind of fluff off the excess with a fluffy brush that has just a tiny amount of powder on it. I wish it had a bit of a tint to it, but I'm super pale anyway, so it works. I think it does flash back a bit, but not as bad as some others I've tried.

Best stuff ever

I've used this for years. It feels great on my skin, absorbs excess moisture without drying my skin, and looks amazing. I recommend it without hesitation

This stuff is well worth the money

I am not a makeup person. Truth be told, I can barely put on lipstick and have never really even felt the need to do that. However, now that I am over 40 I find myself wanting just a little something. I was originally looking for a sheer foundation not knowing that was a contradiction in terms, and stumbled on this while shopping for one. It turned out to be just what I was looking for- just something that would blur minor imperfections/pores without covering up what my skin actually looks like.

I can't speak to how it sets foundation or other makeup since I don't own those things, but it absolutely does give my skin a gorgeous soft finish that looks 100% natural. It also seems to absorb oil throughout the day, so I am dewy without any shine. I am toying with trying a primer under it, but I could totally just rock this with the slightest touch of lip gloss for the rest of my life.

The BEST makeup powder I’ve tried for oily skin

Just before my trip to Greece, I was running out of my Laura Mercier translucent powder and wanted to try a new brand so I tried this IT cosmetics one after seeing good reviews. I have very oily skin on my whole face and normally have to blot throughout the day (literally like 2 hrs after putting my makeup on). When I was wearing this in Greece (where it was hot and I was sweaty and we’d be outside all day), I’d only really only have to blot a tiny bit on my nose after like 8 hours of wear. The only thing I would say is it works best at keeping you shine-free all day if you put on a generous amount when you first do your makeup but sometimes it can feel a little drying because it absorbs all the moisture on your face, so on a regular day if I’m going to work or something I’ll just put on a light amount, but if I want full coverage for a special occassion I’d use a bit more.
